What's New?

1. Migrated Repositories & Clean Organization

We have officially moved our source repositories to the official GitHub organization: 👉 github.com/FreewareAdvancedAudio

2. The FAAC 2.0+ LGPL Era

With FAAC 2.0+, the encoder was completely rewritten from scratch under LGPL v2.1+:

• Clean ISO-Free Codebase: No legacy ISO reference code.
• LGPL v2.1+ Free Software: FOSS-friendly licensing suitable for inclusion in open-source and commercial products alike.
• SBR & HE-AAC Support: Spectral Band Replication for low-bitrate encoding.
• Superior Throughput: Outstanding encoding speed with 3-5x performance headroom.
